Hey girl!! Yes, we have 2 more weeks!! I can't wait. Got a letter today & he sounded pretty good. He's been doing very well on all of tests so far. It's funny because I was thinking of you this morning & told myself I need to check in with you. I've been very down the past week, don't know why and can't seem to shake it. Oh well, it's get better. How are things with you?? How is Jared doing?? Are you able to talk with him a lot more now that he's out of BC?? I just love all your pictures!!

Hey there!! How have you been?? I hope things are going well. How is Jared doing?? Has he started A-school yet?? Are you able to talk to him now??
I got a letter from Jason Thursday & he sounded better! He sprained his ankle & said it hurt a lot, but he is pushing through. Only 4 weeks until PIR, I can't wait. I hope the days go by quickly. Any advice for me??

About me:
I've lived in Titusvlle, FL since 1964 and my kids were all raised here. I believe a childs future depends on a good education and positive real life experiences to contribute towards a well rounded productive adult. That is why I recommended the Navy for my son after he quit college to work full time and support his family without a degree.

From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
It brings out the best in a person.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made
I miss my son sooo much. But what I've learned now from talking to him on the phone since he left home and spent 8 weeks at NTC in BC he sounds so much more mature and seems like he truly misses home, but also loves what he is doing. He speaks clearly and with confidence and pride. He is a Sailor now.
