Ryan was one of the lucky ones. I hope DJ gets word soon, even though he is enjoying having the weekends off and having more free time now, but he is very anxious to get his schooling started in San Diego. Please keep in touch.

I think that Springhill Suites is about 3 1/2 miles from the naval base. I chose it because I thought it was fairly reasonable for a suite. We are bringing our almost 13-year-old daughter and our 22-year-old son. I also liked that it had a heated indoor pool for my daughter.

We live between Okolona and Bullitt County. We've been here for 15 years now. My husband and I both grew up near the Okolona area. We lived off Hwy. 22 near the Oldham County line (but in Jefferson) for about five years but other than that have lived near Okolona. What area are you in Carolyn?

We're staying at the Springhill Suites, Carolyn. Where are you staying? I'd thought about her possibly wanting to eat at Flanagans too. LOL She mentioned pizza. ;-) You never know though. Jarrett is Grad & Go so we really won't be able to spend much time with him after the graduation so I may be able to promise her pizza for that day instead. You never know with a pre-teen (guess I can say teen now) girl I've found.

Have fun in Florida! We probably won't go to the meet and greet since April 2nd is our daughter's 13th birthday, plus it's our anniversary, but her birthday always trumps it. LOL We've promised her swimming in the hotel pool and whatever she wants for dinner that night since we'll be traveling for a good part of her day.

Hi Carolyn My son leaves for boot camp on April 1st. I'm happy and sad and afraid. I have alot of emotions right now, but I know he will do good at this, It's just hard to let go he is my youngest child. Where do you live at in Louisville. Thanks for letting me know that there is someone in Ky like me.
