When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:

Through this Navy experience, I now believe:

Hey Carolyn! Your son is getting close to his PIR date...how exciting!! Be sure and post some pics:) Emily is stuck in RCU waiting for her broken wrist to heal so we have no idea when her PIR will be. I hope to get a phone call from her today. Have fun at graduation!!

(BUDS is for SEALS.) They have to do pre-BUDS first so they will be phycailly ready for BUDS. If they make it through BUDS, they do more SEAL training. The whole thing, including BC, can take up to 2 years, from what I understand from my son.

My son is SEAL. During his last phone call he was having some doubts about that, but I havn't heard anything since then. I think SWCC are the boat drivers for SEALS. I think most of our guys are too busy to let us know what's going on! I'm very anxious for that next letter. I've heard a coupld of ladies say their guys were divers. I'm pretty sure only SEALS go to pre-BUDS.

Have a great day, wish you calls and letters!
