Hi Carrie, Yes he went back on Sat. we had a really nice two weeks with him. He was ready to go back. He called last evening and said he with bowling with a bunch of guys from his new ship and he saw Heather, she was bowling also. So they all went out and ate then. I am glad to see he is still getting to see the regulars from boot camp. How was your visit? Were you ready for her to go back? Keep in touch and have a great day

Hi Carrie-Heathers mom..
yes we are going ti PIR. would'nt miss it.. we fly in around noon on thursday, trying to get a taxi or shuttle service set up now.. how manny phone calls have you gotten? Kaylas called only 2 times so far.. it sounds like yesterday some of the 900 div. made calls home, we of course did'nt get one.
she did say that at the begining that they had "issues" with some of the recruits. but the last couple letters sounded like things were starting to gell..
all in all we're realy proud of Her, and are patently waiting for next week. Kevin

Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
that they're not as mean in boot camp as I thought they'd be. She's called home on several occasions (needed things faxed) and she sounds great. She said it's the hardest thing she's ever done but she's loving every minute of it!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made
