He's doing good and happy with his change. He's still in GC till friday(his birthday). Leaves friday to spend the holidays with a buddy in New Jersey. Has to report to Groton, CT for sub school on Jan 2. Will do sub school, then school for MM-AUX. So coming home for the holidays was canceled. I'm bummed on that as he's my only kid. The saying one door closes another opens is so true in this case. He really was in over his head in power school, and he knew it. Sounds like Ryan is doing good.

Hey Casey! They are from Hilton Head but now live in Hardeeville. Small world indeed! haha I actually lived in Bluffton for a year and that's where I met Chris my boyfriend. I moved to NC to go back to school this fall, though.

Thank you Casey! I have been looking for groups to join and meet lots of new people. It seems living on base is better than living off base because of the close friendships that are made with the wives.

You are so right Casey. I still consider myself new at all this..I'm stressing about everything. My bf graduates from Power School in January! So much is happening and I'm not sure I can absorb all of it. We are planning on getting married soon but its seems like we are being rushed into it. The Navy doesn't really give you much time to plan things out, you would know? The last thing I want is to be rushed. But if we don't get married next year I'm not really sure when we will. Does that make sense?
Other than that I'm a sad, lonely person. I have isolated myself from my friends and family without even noticing, if you can believe that. It just happened and I accepted it. He know how I feel and tries to comfort me but I don't think he really knows how much I'm going through. Maybe, maybe not. Enough about me though..sorry;P
How is marriage life? How are you? I see you have a little one..I'm sure he is keeping you busy. Take care Casey.
