Profile Information

About me:
I am a Marine Corp brat that also ended up with a Army step-dad. I had one grandpa in the Navy during World War II and one in the Army so I have to say that red, white, and blue run through my veins. It still hurts me that I was unable to be in the Navy Nurse Corp do to knee injuries. I believe it takes truly couragous people to protect our rights and freedoms and I salute them all and pray that GOD watches over them. I have a wonderful son that is serving his country and a beautiful daughter that continues to keep me on my toes.
I am here to support or represent my:

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
It just takes time to get used to not seeing and talking to him everyday but you just handle one day at a time and try not to cry. I know he is being strong and I should be too.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

A Sailor's Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, the ship was out steaming,
Sailors stood watch while others were dreaming.

They lived in a crowd with racks tight and small,
In a 80-man berthing, cramped one and all.

I had come down the stack with presents to give,
And to see inside just who might perhaps live.

I looked all about, a strange sight did I see,
No tinsel, no presents, not even a tree.

No stockings were hung, shined boots close at hand,
On the bulkhead hung pictures of a far distant land.

They… Continue

I know something is wrong girl, so spill it! You are wonderful and have done nothing wrong! really, everyone's feelings are raw this time of year, so stressful and now we have sailors away for the first time...some of us. I can tell you that is my entire focus right now, ON Mitch and how to make him have a OK xmas away from home!. It's HARD!
so get you ass back in there, and have a cup of coffee with me before I have to get back to wrapping, listmaking , calling around for what I need and what have you! LMAO, We all Love Ya!

I cannot believe Jonathan is still having to wait! That is ridiculous! But it's typical with the military! YOU have to rush rush rush, then wait on them to decide to do something!!! UGH!!!

Leon's doing pretty good! He was supposed to actually start school today, so we'll see how that goes! He's coming home for Christmas! YAAAAYYYY!! He'll be here on the 19th! His brothers and sister can't wait! We're all counting the days!! He is soooo ready to see everyone!!

I'm sorry about the group! I don't know what to tell ya there!! Sometimes they do get pretty involved in their discussions, but I just shove my way in!! Unless of course, they're talking about those reality shows they watch!! LOL!! NOT my kind of shows!!! HA HA!!

Have a good day!!!
