About me:
I am a Police Officer currently assigned as School Resource Officer for the High School. Amongst other things, I am a certified Dance Instructor (yes, it is an odd combination). I have two sons, the oldest is a graduate (with Honors) from College and my youngest is presently in Navy boot Camp.
I am here to support or represent my:

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Patience, real patience (whatever that is??) Also I learned that if you are upset with your child DO NOT WRITE TO THEM (or call if you can). Wait till the upset is over or you have chilled down, because we can do more harm than good if we send screaming letters (or calls). I know because I did!! That won't happen again. Sorry baby!!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was the best decision he/she could have made

I am doing ok. All is good. I'm glad Joshua is fine and all is well with him. Having a problen with my cell right now. Every time I call out on it, it says emergency calls only!! WHAT IS THAT ALL ABOUT?? I must've did something to it, and I can't figure it out. :(

How are you? I hope all is well. How is Joshua doing? Have you heard from him?
Will you be going to the get together with the Ct.moms next week? I can't go, with all that's been going on here the past few weeks; esp. with my MIL. and all. I'm also trying to get these plans together for PIR. However, I really want to meet these woderful ladies soon; and I am really hoping next month that I'll be able to. With my work schedule and all, I am going to try to arrange it in advance so I can make it.

Hi Cathi, I didn't know you were a police officer, that's great! I hope that Brian is able to get into the K-9 unit, he said it might be tough for the first go around and might have to try later on, so we'll just have to wait and see. well, you have had a nice hiatus! LOL. There are a few new groups. Go to Nikkys page, she started one for us realty TV watchers, there's ship shape up, and many have found there way to a site for their sailors rate. Mine is a AZ so I am now a Mom of aviationMaint. admin. or MAMA, LOL!
We are all around, different places. Hapy to hear you had such a great time with your boys. Love the pics. Mich surprised me by showing up at my dor Dec 23rd. I about dropped over. It was great. He spent much time with the girlfriend, but they were here as much as they were at her house, and I really hogged them at Thanksgiving so fair is fair. We had a great time!

Hi Cathi

I received your message and I am so happy for all of you. Glad you're home safe. I've been having a problem with my computer; it seems to be doing alright at the moment. I am an emotional mess. Received her box yesterday, there was not a form in there at all. All the stuff that we bought for her was sent back. She was able to keep the stamps, address book, and a hair brush. That is it. She left with 40.00 and 21 came back. I just opened an account at the local bank the day before she left, put my name on it too. However, she doesn't even have a debit card with her. How is she supposed to manage to get some things that she may need? (monthly girl stuff) I am crying all the time. Not good. Maybe, if I heard from her I would feel better. I did get her address from the recruiter and sent off some letters last nite when I went to work. I'll be sending some more tonite as well. I just need to know if she is ok.
