About me:
I am a new Navy mom, would like to hear from anyone on how to cope with the empty nest syndrome. My son left for boot camp 11/18/2008. It was one of the hardest things I had to do was watch him get into that shuttle. I did not think my heart could hurt that much. I have a wonderful husband of 20 years and a beautiful 16 year old daughter that have helped me.
I am here to support or represent my:

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
He is no longer my little boy that I can keep at home. He is growing up, but he will always be my little boy at heart.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, This was the best decision he/she could have made
