About me:
I am a very proud NAVY Mama to 21yr.old Dane who is stationed aboard the USS Eisenhower. He is a member of the HS-5 squadron (NIGHTDIPPERS). I also have a 24 yr. old son, Cameron and 2 precious grandsons - Sebastian and Aydin. My husband David and I have been married for 24yrs.

Great minds must think alike - we have been working on our landscaping too. So glad Dane gets to come home and it sounds like you will get to see your sailor before we see ours on the pier. You can be sure we will all be posting pics. Don't forget to post some of yours too.

Hi Celeste, haven't seen you on the Ike pages lately. Hope all is well and I know you can't wait for homecoming. I just posted info about a get together after the FRG night before party in the discussion section on the Ike pages. Check it out and I hope you can join us. I look forward to meeting my Ike family friends and toasting the end of this deployment.

Thank you, I am still adding. My daughter had the opportunity to travel a bit before she went to the ship TAD. I will share her adventures. I hope to visit before she leaves in 2012! Oddly enough I have an old friend that is Japanese. He lives north of Tokyo, haven't seen him since 1973, but he has kindly offered to take my daughter to dinner with his family when the summer cruise is over. They are very kind and genuine people.
