I'm so sorry to hear about the funneral. I'm guessing it was your mother in law.
There will probably be other get togethers, this is the second one, on own own. We also have been in parades together.

I just meant to advertize the Navy for Moms. Yours is better about a get together!!
A new mom I just heard from, she doesn't live too far from me. I told her about the get together., on Saturday. She said she might come, I don't know.
I made an appointment for the Access a Ride for Saturday. I haven't used it yet, I might as well since I was accepted. Where Arte's Cafe is, it'll be three bus's for me. I can't take the trains anymore because of the stairs.
For my birthday, I should take Access a Ride. My husband is taking me to dinner in Manhattan.

I hope this rain stops for Saturday, I'm so tired of it.! HAHA!!

You know, I never gave it a thought about placing an ad, for this Web site in the local paper we get. I received the paper today, it has all the annoucments , who's engaged, who married, babies birth , who's sick and who died!! AHHA!!
Well, a mom was congratulated on her son's graduation from the Navy Boot Camp I did check if she joined here, but hasn't. I'm going to place an announcement for the next paper, it's monthly..
Through this, I have met a few Navy moms already, and were in two parades, and a TV show with them. It's great!! HAHAH!!
I joked with the few moms I have met, about Saturday's get together. Now that I'm getting more comfortable, knowing them, if worse comes to worse, I'll hold on to some one's arm!! HAha!! I'll be only with my cane!! AHHA! The may not recognize me....I have always used my walker !! HAHA!!

I always write back!!! I made this my hobby. Many nights I do stay up until 4 AM.. I joke, too bad I don't get paid for this. I do put in 10 hours a day, I do break from 6 PM to around 11 PM. I really enjoy thie writting.
You know what I'm going to do, I'm going to call the "Access a ride" for Saturday. With this Arte's Cafe, I'd be taking 3 buses, and I am disabled now.
I have the "Access a Ride". and haven't used it yet!! I might as take advantage of it.!! HAhA!! It says it goes to all the 5 boroughs.
I used to go to Manhattan a lot. I used to call my husband for a lunch date sometimes. He works on East 14 street.

How are you doing today? There's about four moms that I have already met, from prior events. I enjoy being active with the Navy for moms.
The last parade I was in wasa the Veteran's day parade, and my daughter Kim was visiting. So she marched with us in her uniform, I was so proud of her!!
It's so nice when we get together on own . I just tell everyone that I don't want to come across as rude, in case I don't hear something.!! HAHA!!
I love Manhattan at Chrisrmas, it's so beautiful. My birthday is Christmas
Eve, so my husband and I have dinner in MAnhattan, and go down to Rockefeller center, He said maybe this year, we'll go for the horse and carriage ride. We did that once, years ago.

Oh, I forgot to mention, my daughter Kim is stationed in Virginia on the USS Normandy.
