About me:
I'm 43 years old and live in Blackwood, New Jersey. I have two sons, Nick & Corey. Nick graduated bootcamp Oct 31, 2008 and Corey says he is going to join the Navy when he graduates high school. Nick had graduated from CS school and sub school and is now going to the Dallas.

From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Patience, patience, patience!!!! The hardest part is getting through the weeks of bootcamp with no phone calls.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Christine, He is still with the boat. For how long we don't know. After a number of MRI at Ct scans they are now sending him to Dr. # 4. This waiting is driving me nuts.

her name is Kyla Lee Leland. My daughter is Amber and son in law James. They are all excited to see Richard when he gets home on leave. Amber last saw him at boot graduation when she was pregnant. That was back in September.

Sorry, I didn't see this back when you wrote it. I had been working crazy hours and had a pregnant daughter at the time. I am now a grandma. Yeah for me. I just love my little peanut of a granddaughter. She is now 4 months old and Richard has yet to see his neice. I am hoping Richard will get to see her on his way to his new duty station in July. Who is your aunt and uncle?

It all depends on the day you talk to Josh as to loving it. Seems like his days are long and hard. Plus he is working on getting his "fish" before time runs out. Has Nick had to go back to school for the hand to hand combat training yet? Josh leaves July 7 for two weeks in Groton for the training.

i told josh about nick and he said if he is a cs than i will know him as soon as i get to the dallas. when i asked why he said" mom a cs works with the food . as an mm i love to eat food. beleive me we will get to know each other will good" Christine as an mm he will be working 18 hr days and than gets time to eat they eat alot . He told me there is no one on the boat the mm's like better than the cs. LOL i am also glad he is so close to home. I live in Allentown pa
