Hi Cindy,

My son leaves in August for BC. He is counting down the days until he leave. He enlisted in the DEP with two other friends and they have left for BC already.

This is a great website!

Hi Cindy...my name is Tami and I have a daughter who is an AGAN. She went to Great Lakes to BC and then on to Kessler to A School. Boot camp was tough....very tough....she loved A School....so you just have to get past the rough stuff. Ag school was a lot of work but she loves it. She was deployed to Japan one year ago out of A School and loves it there...and now is on the USS G-Dub ..she is TAD...temporary duty assigment...so she'll be coming back to Austigi. She has one more year to go in Japan. Then she must decide if she stays in the AG program it is back to Kessler for 9 months of schooling to become a forecaster...and on to apprentice somewhere again. Nicole loves the Navy....loves Japan...made tons of friends in A School that she is still with now....and loves what she is doing on the G-Dub. I get sad and miss her. It has been a year since I have seen her. Am planning a trip to Japan sometime later this year. She gives us a good excuse to travel...LOL If you ever have any questions....or fears...or tears...as I have...don't hesitiate to ask...or lean. that is what we are all here for...Good luck to you and your daughter....
