I do like her. The plan is to get married here, in Kernersville. She is from California so it would be difficult to do it so far away from where they are stationed. They are planning a small outdoor wedding if weather permits and if not our church i…

Hi Cindy! Wow - a spring wedding how exciting for you! Congratulations to Matt and Chelsea. I can't wait to meet all of you at graduation. I'm sorry I ddn't read your post sooner - it has been so busy at work and I get so many messages from Navy for Moms that I delete a lot of them and just go to the site to read when I get a chance!

Hi Cindy!

Thought I'd touch base and see how everything is going for you and for Matt - it's been a while since we've talked!

There is a discussion group in the Nuke moms called October Power School that you should join. All of us have silors who will graduate on March 19th from Power School. We are hoping to all get together - it would be so fun. Hope you'll join in.

We had a great time in GC for Thanksgiving! The weather wasn't the greatest, but we just ignored it. We did get to walk on the beach on Thanksgiving, which was really great.

Eric is doing well in Power School, which is such a relief not to have to worry about him. He doesn't like the memorization stuff, but otherwise is good. How are things going for Matt?

Would love to hear from you..... take care!

Hi Cindy,
Robert is doing fine. He and his girlfriend broke up and that was hard for him I think but he'll get over it I'm sure. Do you want to have lunch or dinner one maybe Thursday or Friday this week?

Did Matt get engaged? I want t hear all about it!

I will pass your message along to Austin. That is awesome about Matt and Power school. I hope that Austin has an easier time as well. He really struggled to get through A school. That may be why he has mandantory study time. It is a killer. He has 35 required hours a week.

Hey Cindy! Congratulations on Matt's engagement! Weddings can be so much fun (especially when it is NOT your daughter getting married!!)

Austin is okay. He just started power school last Monday, so he only has one week under his belt. I honestly think he is exhausted. He called last night and had been studying for 9 hours yesterday. He has his first test tomorrow so we shall see.

He was able to come home for Thanksgiving and brought a couple of his buddies with him. Although Austin was sick the whole time he was home, I think they had a good time. I know we enjoyed having them. My oldest son and his family were also in so we had a very busy house. I was in 7th heaven. I cooked and cleaned and washed clothes the whole time but it was wonderful having everyone home.

Keep informed on the wedding plans. it can be such an exciting time.

Hi Cindy! I am so happy to hear that Matt and Eric are still in the same class - then they have the chance to study together and push each other a bit. Eric seems fine - he didn't love being on t-track other than the leave he got to come home! It was great to have him here, but we didn't see a lot of him as he worked in the recruiter office and then hung out with his friends.

We are headed to GC for Thanksgiving - we actually will be there from the 20th to the 27th. We will stay in the villas on the 20th and then head to Hilton Head for the week as I have an exchange for a condo there. Eric will join us as he gets the chance when school is out. I didn't realize that it is 2 1/2 hours away from GC. He doesn't seem to think it will be a big deal, so i am not going to worry about it too much. I am excited to go - I have never been to SC, so I am going to have to see all that I can while I am there. My older sister and her husband will be joining us, so I am really looking forward to that!

I'll have to see if we can grab Matt for breakfast or lunch or something before we head out to Hilton Head on Saturday. I would sure love to meet him. Are you planning on going to Power School Graduation? I think we should all rent villas and have a big party!

Thanks for keeping in touch - it was great to hear from you!

It is in the Nuke Moms group, in the discussion titled October Power School or something like that. You may already know some of the moms.

I hope your sister is doing well. See you Thursday.
