My husband, Justin from Detroit is in this ship/div. We are slated to go to San Diego after for Sonar Tech A-school. :) A friend's son in the same said they performed 11/25... we need to find photos/videos!

About me:
Married to himself, Harry since 2000. Mother of Shawn, Ashley, & Rob. Step-Mother of Dan & Lisa. Grandmother of Mason, Aiden, & Emily.
Work full time in A/R at Excavating Co-18 years now I'm the resident dinasour!
Love taking pictures -so there's pretty much a pictorial of ALL family events(yep I'm the annoying one with a camera as an extra limb)
Love lighthouses, flea markets & garage sales, food, all things Irish, traveling, food, animals, old people, kids, the Victorian era, food and people in general, family history. Oh and did I mention food?
I always try to have a smile on my face - life is tough enough!
I am going to try and be the best Navy Mom I can -with your help of course!

Hey welcome home!! So it was fabulous, great to hear that. I have heard that Ireland is a gorgeous country.
Thank you for your postcard.
I hope you can get your pictures back. What ashame.

Boy you have some wonderiful Thanksgiving plans. I hope and pray everyhting works out. It's the most difficult going through the first missed birthdays and holidays, without our loved ones. That's great about you wanting to be around Harry's family as well.

I have some excitment. I'm sure I told you I'm deaf. Well the hearing aide is working out pretty good for my left ear. I was approved for the cochlear implant surgery, for my right ear. I'm having it done on Dec 17. I have to have it before the years out, because my husband's company is changing insurances. This new insurance doesn't approve the surgery.

I'm also active on this other website, Cochlear Community, where all the members already had this surgery. So I am looking forward to having this done.

After Christmas, I'm going to Virginia to be with Kim for a few weeks. SHe's pregnant, and the baby is due Jan 2. I've been so excited over this, I can't wait.
According to the sonogram, we're having a boy. She sent me some 3D images of him, Oh Cindy, he is gorgeous!! I can't wait to hold my little guy. This is my first grandchild.

So both Thanksgiving and Christmas it'll just be the 4 of of us. There's no family on either side.
Let me get going. My prayers are with you on getting back your pictures.

Hi Cindy, thank you sweety.they will be going back to Norfolk VA. next weekend. i wasn't sure we were allowed to give out last names on this site. i have never seen anyone do it. if we can't , i have told the kids all the well wishes and prayers the Navymom.com have said . and they said to tell you all thank you and it is very much appreicated. We finally slept good last night. i am in Fl. they are still in Utah at her mom's.

Do I see Carbondale? Lived 10 years in Mt. Vernon, graduated from SIU-C. We have a Navy hubby down your way. Please keep us updated--I hope we see you Sat. at Bloomington, but understand if you cannot come. If you need a ride from Troy, please contact me. We are only going for the day.

Dear Cindy,
My lost lost girlfriend, how are you? I missed you too.
Periodicaly I'd check on you to see if your were writting again.

How is everything? Have you heard from Rob, how is he doing?

I'm doing good. My older daughter drove down to Virginia. She's been with Kim, alittle. Kim and her shipmates are going nuts working around the clock, preparing for this major inspection.

Yes I do have the A/C on ! HAHA!! But I tell you, the summer hasn't been too drastic, it did have some breeze. Now we have to go through August!!! UGH!! Is it the Fall yet? HAHA!

Let me get goiung. Tonight I have a lot of messages, and of course I'm getting up early, in the hopes of a breakfast with loverboy. My husband took off for an appointment I had, then the audiologist canceled the appoitnment.

God willing, Aug 14, I am expecting to get a hearing aide, I'm so excited over this. It would be nice to hear again. Now I'm lopsided, my right ear completley died!! Good , I'm thankful, now my hard of hearing is stable!! HAHA! For two years, my ears are been going back and forth with the hard of hearing to deaf.
