I think this is wonderful news! Trained is always good, not going to a war zone, even better! Did he get the pre leave anyway? Last year, my son's deployment was postponed for a month, so he got another visit home....but still, off they went.

Matt has orders to Cherry Point but is still stuck in GL. No plane ticket yet. :( No reason as to why that is either. He is so frustrated as are we. Maybe this week. We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
