I found this quote today, and felt it appropriate to the way I felt. I think I'll share it with my son, in hopes that it will inspire him to not allow the actions of a few to discourage him in his journey to do what is right.

I got three of them today! Words can't describe how excited I was to get them! I've read each of them three times!

The most recent dated one says "everyone is wanting to call home to tell whoever, that we're leaving right after graduation and it wouldn't make sense to come". Well, I think I've figured out what made him so ill a couple of weeks ago. I mentioned before that Ryan has been helping his football coach work on an old house....he got sick while helping him the first week, and I attributed it to the heat. He was fine the whole time Becky and Joey were here, but he got very ill again Thursday evening, after having been back at the old house working for two days. Becky and Joey arrived yesterday afternoon. I finally finished with year end close at the hospital and got home around 9:30 p.m. They were just getting home from dinner. I was so excited to see them! I met her fiance, Joey once...when he came with her three years ago to attend my wedding. Things were so crazy busy that week, that we didn't get a chance to really get to know each other. Last night Ryan came home from work, sick. He was running a fever of 102+ when I took it after he first got home, around 9:00 pm. He works at night for my husband at the restaurant he manages...during the day for the last week or so he's been working for his high school football coach, gutting a house his coach inherited. I'm hoping Ryan is just dehydrated and overheated, but we can't seem to break the fever with the old "tried and true" Tylenol, fluids, and rest.
