Hi guys, Michelle got orders cuz of health reasons so she's not on the TR anymore but she is still in Norfolk. I think about you guys all the time, and no I'm not leaving. I'm kinda attached to this place even though it's really slow

Doesnt surprise me, thats the military. Don't believe it til you see it. Michelle isn't doing so good. Hopefully things will get better

About me:
I was raised in the army and that's where I met my husband. We were in for about 12 years and got out because of the drawdown. I have two kids Michelle and 17 yr. old David. I'm selfemployed but looking to find a parttime job on top of that for more of a job security. I love soccer but don't play, and bowling. I do scrapbooking just too lazy lately.

That is so wonderful to hear.You must b so happy and I am so glad for you.I am excited as well for their safe return back home.I hope my son gets to have a liberty and come home so we can see him.I just want to hug him so I can see and feel for myself that it is real and he is home.I do not know how it works though.If they are allowed liberty once the mission is over.I guess I will find out though.Congrats on your good news sweetie and take care

I recieved good news last night.My sons girlfriend called me and my son asked her to call me and let me know his navy address.Woo Hoo,I recieved my first email from him tonight.That made my day.I was just reading some of the postings.Is it true?Are they coming home?Thank you for what you said and I know I am not alone an I find it great that I am meeting people on here that have or are going through the same feelings tha I am.It has helped me alot.God Bless

I will check LAX and also Burbank. Sometimes, you can get good deals from Burbank. I am okay. Finally got a "real" job!!!! I get drug tested tomorrow and start on Tuesday. Making a lot less than I was, but it is a paycheck!!!

Hi Claudia...
Just wondering where you are flying out of....I have looked at Vegas/Norfolk and the best I can do is $300/person. It gave me the option of flying into Newport News, but I haven't looked at it. Strongly considering catching a flight out of LA or Phoenix if I can do better that way. Let me know.
