What a Surprise

Boy Howdy let me tell you I don't think I will ever get anything better then what i got to day for Christmas. I blogged before and told everyone we were going to surprise my husband and 2 youngest kids with Sean coming home for Christmas . Well then he talked to his cousin... he talked him into telling me he wouldnt be coming home until the following week if at all. Surprise!

Hello all as I sit here and type this I am reminded of all of you who won't be able to see loved ones for whatever the reason this Holiday Season. My prayer would be for everyone to see their loved ones and be able to spend time with them as will we. Most of you know that our Sailors will be able to take time off for the Christmas holiday who are at GL. Nope, Shea hasn't started A school yet. He would love to find out more about the school. He is just waiting....and freezing in the cold Chicago winter. Boy...he would like to get to the 'sun' soon! Tell me more about your son's ship and where he will be stationed. If he could call Shea that would be great! We have snow all over here also...not the sub zero kind though....like GL. The trees keep the wind down.

Well I got my 30 second phone call- and to be honest he sounded really good. That really helped. But of course I just lost it after hanging up. He said it would be 30 days before I hear from him again..Is that true???? When you write- do youkeep things just really upbeat and happy? Of course you do, I am just crazy right now... I think I am going to take a zanac and go to bed... LOLOLOL No seriously I just miss him, and the not knowing what is happening to him is the worse part for me.

Hello, thanks so much for the invite- I am really struggling with all this. I am SOOOO proud of my sons decisions but soooooo scared too. He is just now getting to GL as I type this, he still had his cell phone so he has been texting me all the way there. And I just got the text that he is on the bus and is headed that way now. I am so used to getting little silly texts from him nearly everyday or a quick hello . I just miss him so much already. I am pathetic I know. :)

Hey Colleen - I am close to Kansas City but travel all over the state... I completely understand about catching up - I was off for 2 weeks spending it with Johnathan and now is the clean up of the house because I refused while he was home. I added you as a friend and cant wait to get to know ya more - - - yeah that spongee she is a "character". She has been so helpful to me and has taught me alot already.
