About me:
I am a proud navy wife to Paul who graduated boot camp on 12/5/08. We have 2 beautiful children ages 12 and 3. We support Pauls decision to join the military and look forward to our future adventures. I also look forward to making new friends along the way.
I am here to support or represent my:

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Life is what you make of it!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:

WOW that is alot of people.. That will be a shock for him. They are going to tranfering Michael on monday. They are sending him to the VA in Richmond. He will be there for awhile. I am hoping to find a mom over there that can help he. and keep a eye on him from time to time. Its a good move and he is looking forward to it.
Again that you so much.

Hi Colleen, I can understand that "degree" thing, but it frustrates me as well. I work at a college, therefore, degrees are highly important. However, I worked with a woman who had an accounting degree and I ran circles around her (I don't hold a degree either). So, sometimes, that little peice of paper doesn't hold up to experience and work ethics. Hmmm...tell that to the ones that are interviewing though ..huh? heheheh
Danny's job is "Aviation Electrical Engineering". He is just waiting his next "adventure". Bobby is a lucky kid, yes, because he's already picked Danny's brain about things. So, he'll have a good take of what it's like and the do's and don'ts that Danny only wish he knew. Bobby will learn from Danny, the good stuff as well as the bad.
Have you made any new friends in Virginia? I know you must be busy. I'm sure you'll do well in your Medical Transcription class. I think it's great to learn different things. I always thought about taking a course in that. Must go, but look forward to hearing from you

Hi Colleen,
your comments are so kind, but it is not my son who is injured. I just posted that for Denise Holland since I am a member of the Norfolk group. My son is station in VA Beach though.
I will copy your comments and get it to Denise's page.
Thanks for offering to help!
