Sunday July 13th we had family dinner with my son. He is not much on having a lot of people so we kept it kind of small for our family standards. For some reason we always have enough food to feed more than what we have there, but it was all good.

After about a year and a half of schooling it was time for another graduation!! This time his father, our daughter Jennifer, her friend Debra, and I all drove to SC. We left about midnight on a Wednesday night and drove until we got to SC on Thursday afternoon, early evening. We got to spend about 45 minutes with our son before he had to leave for SC and start his schooling there. Needless to say it was hard to say good bye again and my daughter cried when we were leaving, she worries about her brother so much.
While in SC my son not only started his schooling but he also tried something new, he went skydiving once. He did a piggyback jump I believe he called it and he loved the experience and talked about going to classes to learn to do it on his own. But he did not… Continue

James was gone, off to meet his new world and mom was home wondering how he would cope being in a strange new city, with lots of new people. My son is a quiet type of person and was not overly sociable while in school. The first two weeks of basic were hard on me without hearing from him and wondering how he was doing.
