About me:

I am here to support or represent my:
Petty Officer Jordan
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
That the Navy wasn't going to damage him.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, This was the best decision he/she could have made
Our son Jordan has had a desire to join the Navy for years now. His Dad served the US in Vietnam as Army and his grandfather was Air Force. Once he made his decision there was no turning back. I was actually pleased when he announced his decision.
Before he was sworn in, we took a family cruise and boy did we have fun!
Jordan is an accomplished artist, a charmer (danger ladies), and a well rounded young man in his taste of music, food, art and life. As he reminds me from time to time, his whole life is "wireless". I remind him to keep it that way. Let's face it Mom's, our young men and ladies become targets in those uniforms! Gotta teach to keep themselves safe.
He is an Airman stationed at Travis and is loving it. He almost made it on a tiger cruise last month but, lost his seat on the hop to Hawaii, so.....
He has made many friends in the service. Most of those have been on ships already and some have been deployed. He is itching for such action. I remind him that all things happen in the right time. I pray for ALL our armed forces and their safety. For those who have fallen, I pray God's comfort to their families and thank our troops for the freedom we experience daily. God Bless America and our service families.
