From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
The feelings that I have right now are normal. I have also learned that as much as these young men may be our babies, they are becoming responsible men.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi Darlene, I received a phone call from Nick yesterday (thursday) and a few letters today, he says he is doing good and that their division earned a flag for academics so that is good to hear. I have not received the grad packet yet probably because we live so far down here in So. Ca. Hope you are doing good.

Hi Darlene! Congrats on your phone call!!!! Do you happen to remember which area code the call came from?????? My daughter is in Div 173.....a phone call should be coming maybe next week and I'm scheduled in a conference...... I want to answer the call but not every 800# unless that is wha'ts coming!! Congrats!

Hi Darlene, wanted to stop by and welcome you to AECF group! Is Travis in boot camp now or A school? Does he know yet if he is an ET or FC? Our son is an FC and is currently in C school, he left GL in January. My hubby was also an FC for 10 yrs. so if you have any questions, please let me know.

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
