Family and friends of Recruits graduating (PIR) on 10/30/09.
Chuckling at the SF camp shirt since we have a few of those. Ryne has the Fukudome shirt too. I'm pretty sure I recognize this place-Patriot's point? We were there in May.

Hi. I guess the boys started class today. I hope it's not too hard for them, but I know that they will do well. Mike purchased a laptop after arriving at GC and has been adding to his Facebook page - guess that's how I keep up with him...he seems to have forgotten how to e-mail!

- Ugh! How awful about your pictures! I will send the pics of Conner and Daniel to your email address. How did you order a dvd? I video'd all of the PIR meticulously zooming on the ceremonial drumline at the beginning. Guess what.....? That's the only part of the video that did not transfer to my computer!! Accckkk! So Daniel had a week of cleaning? Conner too. Now he's learning 'take downs' with a batton and all I can think of is Starsky and Hutch! :-). We get a phone call almost every night and a good laugh is always included. Did you read about the USPS military package?

- Hi DeAnn. So good to meet you over the PIR weekend! Your sailor is handsom and charming. I have a couple of pictures on my page of Daniel and Conner at Navy Pier. How is he doing in NC? My daughter's PIR is 13 days away! There is a chance that she too will be in Oceana. Conner has checked in and is doing well in San Antonio.

- Oh DeAnn that's wonderful. My heart will be with you. Where are you staying? I'm thinking Navy Lodge when we do go. Rob has a DEP meeting tonight. He is getting very restless -very! He is going to be an Airman and I believe his A School will be in Pensacola. I hope to make sure of that tonight when I talk to the recruiters. I have several questions for them. I left a message last week but, they did not call me back. UGH!
Now, when he left for Boot Camp did you go with him to GL? Is that the swearing in that I shouldn't miss? Just can't remember what I've read. If so, he leaves next Monday and I will have to take off work.
You go Sista and have a great time. Post them pics when you get back. Oh and if you are crying on the way home and need a shoulder -call me

He will be off to GL BC in August. He's going for Avaiation MM. My Husband & I have been married 25 yrs. I am a nurse by profession. I am so proud of my guys & they are making sound decisions on their own!
