About me:
My son went into the Navy in July of 2007, and is currently an AZ on the Bataan. We live in northern CT. I have been a member of the Navy Moms message board at delphiforums.com, and have had wonderful support in this first year! I've learned the value of moms supporting each other, even when our "kids" are grown up!
I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
LISTEN LISTEN LISTEN!!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi Deb,
So glad to see your note on the CT Moms site. Let me know if there is a place and day of the week that would work for you, and we will try to set up something closer and more doable for you.

Hope all is well with your sailor.

Go look at the main page of a picture of your ship and this message is awaiting you and all USS Bataan moms...

Hello! Is your kid and/or loved on the USS Bataan? If so- please get in touch with me. I'm looking for you! :) We have a possible opportunity that I think you might be interested in. Looking forward to talking to you!
Sincerely, CC

No problem - once you join the group you don't need to do anything else. So how is your son adjusting to the ship?

Thank you for your support. I means alot. My daughter use to be more outgoing but for some reason since she arrived in boot camp up to now she is really reserved. I know once they are all on the ship things would be different and from what I understand they leave in a week for a week. But it breaks my heart to hear her tell me shes sleeping in her car because the back seat is bigger than her barrack. Thanks again.
