There is a resale shop on Pearl and of course the Goodwill helps to streatch your daughter's money. There is also clearence areas in Target. The NEX is the largest in the Navy there and the prices are good. I will ask my daughter if she knows others. I know my daughter got items form other people in her unit as they were coming state side. If she lets people know what she needs then she will find they will be willing to sell for cheap or as in most cases give.

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

My son is stationed at Pearl, but living in Aiea Don't be embarassed about not knowing, we are all going through, just maybe in different ways. You should be proud that you have raised her to be a independent as she is.
My son is on the USS Tucson a Fast Attack.... they won't be going on west pac for at least 9 mon so if we can help each other out
My son loves that I have found this site, he laughs at some of he things i tell him
