I live in Northwest Indiana. 2 hours from Great Lakes. My husband and I are also spending Thanksgiving with our son. We get Chicago news and the forcast right now is saying Tomorrow partly sunny High 38. Today they are calling for flurries but as of now it is still just rain. Wednesday 42 and Thursday 45. No precipitation on any of those days. Safe travels to you.
Just checking in on you. Have you heard from your son? My son had his PIR on 10/31. It was awesome!! Kyle is now in Great Lakes for A school. Are you going to be able to attend your son's PIR?

You have been on my mind. I haven't seen you around and I'm wondering if you are OK. Any letters this week? I got one today. I now know that her boyfriend got the call but it was a short one. She promised the next one will be to us. Also heard something disturbing about div 024 maybe being held back? Jill didn't tell me that - I read it somewhere here. Did Dustin say anything about that?
How are you doing today? I'm hanging in there. Still no phone call. Its so hard to hear all of the other moms getting them whose kids are PIRing on 12/5. Oh well, I'm trying to stay positive. What else can I do? If she chose to call her bf instead of us, we should get the next call, right? It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't keep getting all of these stupid election calls. I keep thinking maybe its her and then I am so dissappointed. At least that will stop after Tuesday.
How are you doing these days? In my latest letters Jared made comments about some things I wrote so I know he's getting mail and I got a brief 7 min. call yesterday but it actually made me sad because he was hurting as they took out his wisdom teeth on Thursday. I heard sniffles and it broke my heart. I'm sure he'll be fine but it sure sucked knowing he was hurting and I couldn't be there. Hope your hanging in there. Laura
