If your son is an aerographer then he probably has a Rate (or job) of AG. I'm not that well versed in all of the terminology but his Department could be AO (air operations department). This would be completely separate from AO (aviation ordi…

I don't know if all AOs are in the Weapons Division, but I know my son is an AO and he was assigned to the Weapons Division. It is my understanding that the Weapons Division breaks down into what I believe they call shops/areas. The shops/ar…
AO is Aviation Ordnance, they load missiles/ordnance on the ship and on the jets. Dont think they have division #s on a ship, its usally a squadron # or unit #, but not too sure about divisions.
Can I ask what an AO is exactly? My son is in Ao Div, but confused about div #s and this....

My son Dan leaving on ist 6-month deploy aboard the U.S.S. Nimitz. He really loves his job so far... He's ready to see the world now...

We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing.
