I am sure we can hear about it some day. BUT ... sometimes I think it is better we don't and the public finds out too much information and causes more problems.

Yes, morale is low! Mine ia bored and to me it seemed like a wasted cruise but, ... we don't know it all. There was a time my sailor could not tell us about. At least they are safe! They will be home a SHORT while and then back to their SCHEDULED TR…

Jacob is coming home this winter and getting married! Alice is from London, England and living with us until then! We are so pleased! She is already our daughter-in-love! Hard to believe she has already been with us 2 weeks today!

Jacob is doing well ... just a bit bored at the moment ... not much to do in his job. His fiancee from England has come to live with us until Dec. when they plan to marry. It is wonderful to have her here with us. She is already part of the family.…

They wouldn't head into it unless it was an emergency. That craft and its sailors aboard are way too valuabe to do that, Jacob called and said they were loading the boat as he was calling. They were to leave in 5 hours. I think he would have called…

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it, Was proud, Was relieved, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
he has flown the nest and now his nickname is "Sparrow". The Navy DOES take care of their own as well as the sailors' families. I never realized how PROUD I was going to be as a Navy Mom!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Dee: can you send me Jacobs full name and how to address a box to him? Send it to mjbader53@comcast.net which is my personal email. I want to make sure I send Christmas boxes to our sailors even though they may go home and I'm sure get things from home - just for those of us up on the HS-14 group I want to make sure to include our sailors. I have everyone but Jacob at this time. Thanks!

Dee, can you send me a personal, non-N4M e-mail address? The attachment for the Family Gram is too long to put in one of the N4M messages. I think you'll love reading about the Mustin. It has it's own section. Hope to hear from you soon. Beth

Hi Dee:
yes, Jon is on the GW same as Garrett; and yes, he is a swimmer! He graduated in San Diego in April, and flew to Japan in May for his first "real job" out of training. So he shipped out with the GW in early June when they left for summer deployment along with your sons ship and a few others in that group.
