We spoke to Chris this morning because we were letting him know that we were mailing two packages to him. He said that their first test is on Monday and he would be studying quite a bit this weekend. He sounded good.... Hopefully, this first test will be encouraging for them all. I told him that we would be praying.... Have a nice weekend.
I haven't heard about the new policy. I will ask Chris next time I talk with him. (That sounds pretty strict!!) Hopefully, our guys won't get themselves into that position. Chris also called last night and said that the first day was pretty long. He gave me his new address. He seems pretty optimistic, though he said that their hours will be long. Did you get flooding in our area yesterday and last night? It was pretty scary driving to work this morning. My husband has business meetings this week in the Galeria area and we are staying at the Westin Oaks and I am driving to Friendswood from there this week.
And speaking of church... Chris will go... if he doesn't have something else to do. I want him to find a place that encourages him to walk with God. I think that with the challenges they will face, they need to lean on God... I will be praying that both Chris and Michael will meet friends who will influence them back to God. (It's my desire that Chris would become that type of friend)
Have a great day today... and God bless.
Sandra

I havnt been on for a while..Hope Michael is ajusting well to GC. Isn't it wonderful that you can talk to your son now! even if he is calling collect:)
It's so funny, I have learned that the phone becomes our life line. I wont go to far without my phone:) even when I run the sweeper i put the phone in my pocket just in case Joseph calls:)
yes, a lot of changes for us too.
It was wonderful to have Joseph home, even the doggies enjoyed having a hug from him.
It was so tough having to let him go again.
what do you think of the Christian chat group?
Well take care, stay busy and I will say a prayer for all our precious sailors. lol Grace
I forgot to ask.... Do I use the same address for letters? as well as packages?
Thanks
Sandra
We live in the Baytown area and I teach in the Clear Creek district... (Clear Brook HS) It's nice to think that maybe sometime when our sons are able to come back home they might be able to keep each other company. We were at the meet and greet, but probably left about 8 or 8:30. Did you meet Kathy who is also from the Houston area? Her daughter Sara went to A school at Pensacola. Thanks again Denise....
