I am a mother of two, one daughter who is a sophomore in college at SDSU and my son, who left for the Navy on 11/10/08. I am happily married to my second husband of 4 years and love to spend as much time as possible with him. I have a terrific little dog named Rudy.

It's not a big deal that he did not call. I am just glad that I get to see him on Friday. If he got a chance to have some fun with video games and stuff, then I hope he took advantage of that. Looking forward to meeting you!!

From what I have read the Captain's Cup is a physical competition between divisions that has different things like tug of war, etc. I guess they get a trophy. I am not really sure what all is included. I am sorry you didn't get a call!

We did not get a call from Bernard...I am so bummed. I am not sure if he tried and could not reach us because we were out of town but I cannot wait until Friday!!!! That is totally awesome about the Captain's Cup. Did he say what that was?

Hi Donna!
They do battlestations on Tuesday the 6th. Tommy did say that Div 908 won the Captain's Cup so that is great news! We are getting close!

I just hope my husband likes it...he is pretty spoiled and usually stays at places like Embassy Suites but it will be so much easier to be in the same place with his Dad and Step-Mom. I can't believe we get to see our boys in just over a week. I am so excited :-)

That is great news! I hope it is easier for you that way. Tommy's dad and fiance' and I are all staying at the Ramada which is 3 miles away from the base. I think it just makes it easier if the family is in one place :0)
