Janis, My son, Josh, will be there with yours in GC, as well. This also will be our first Thanksgiving away from each other. I have no worries, because I know the Navy does indeed take good care of them. I'm glad to know that GC was voted to having…

Hi Donna, I understand your concern. I rarely heard from my son when he was in school. Seems he did nothing but study, work, then fall into bed for a few hours. I was very concerned, expecially because a few times that he did manage to call me, he s…

I'd just like to connect with anyone who's loved one is in this class. My son as all of a sudden stopped communicating with me. Unlike boot camp, where we all kinda know what's going on, school appears to be different.

Hey Donna,
Any call from your son will come from area code 847 so if you have caller ID look for that. He might have tried to call and you missed it. Hope to meet you at PIR. Isn't it nice to have a website like this to connect with those who know how you are feeling?

Hello Donna,
My son Jake is in Div 145 Ship 11. How are you getting along? I'm missing him but grateful for the letters, so far one phone call, and the fact that I can still hear his voice when I think about him. Can't wait to go to PIR. Really looking forward to that. Are you going?

Good Morning Donna, We have got to calls from Isaac and they were mostly about Things that the Navy need some more address and stuff about our birth place the hole familys. But I told my mom I did not care what it was about. We could have talked about dog food I did not care just to hear his voice was the best. I told one of my friends that I did not know 3 little lines and a silly old phone called would mean more to me then gold. lol I think only another Navy mom can truly understand what am saying. Hope you are haveing a good day. Big Navy Mom Hug to you!!!!!!!!!!! hope to talk to you soon.
