I feel everyone's frustration. I can't even get a picture of Stephan in his flight suit!!!!. Let alone next to his plane. When he gets home next week, we will talk about this AGAIN!

Speaking of pics... My son took a few while he was flying the cessna... but won't go get his official Navy picture taken. H etells me we have enough picyires of him in his uniform...

- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- to let go and not worry. This is my son's dream and he is living it. He has wanted to be a Naval Aviator since he was about 5 years old!
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Yes the scenery is beautiful...Deception Pass probably the most beautiful I've see. Joey says Vancouver is great...never been there myself...Seattle is a reat city...Is your son there yet and if so is he staying at the BOQ..Joey lived in Anacorted the first year then bought a home in OakHarbor 5 minutes out the back gate of the base. Well kep in touv=ch if I can help in any way let me know. Happy Holidays and a safe New Year!!!

- Yes, she said she met you too and was pleased she was able to connect a face with a name. Do you think they are a cute couple. We so enjoyed Lorne when they were home for Thanksgiving. He is a keeper. Hopefully when they split up here after Lorne wings they will both be able to be stationed on the same base. We shall see.

He just got his service selection last week and will go Navy Pilot, so he's headed in the right direction. Can't remember what I told you that last time, but my older son is in EOD training and graduates June, 2010. He's happy where he is. I guess that's what counts. They are both coming home for Christmas!! May be the last time we're all together. But I won't go there. Maybe we'll meet sometime at Michigan Moms....

- Hi DJ - I haven't written in such a long time - I'm bad! I just got a call from my son, Shaun. He told me that Win got Growlers. If you remember, Win's best friend and Shaun were in Corpus together. Well the world gets smaller every day, because now they are both in JAX together and are flight partners for their SIMS! Hope you are all getting ready for a wonderful Christmas. It is 7 degrees here in CT this morning! Brrrrr. Take Care. Wishing you the best for the holidays.
