When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
You can do anything if you want to acheive your goals. I was not sure this would work out for me, and was not sure I would graduate boot camp. But if one thinks positive and sees everything as a chance to learn something new, you can meet that challenge and walk away with the reward of acheiving and overcoming. I learned a lot and met many people in the service, some of whom we are still in contact with.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

My husband and I were both in the military. We served 4.5 years, and we have a few close friends who stayed in the service. Some are almost at their 30 year mark, some are almost at 15 years. Some got out and went on to join the Army national guard or reenlisted in other branches.
