I know how you all feel. Matt hasnt been home for Christmas since he joined the Navy four years ago. We miss him too... for some reason this year especially so. I'm having a hard time finding the Christmas spirit this year.

Good Morning Ladies; I found a really nice site where you can send messages to the troops. It's www.letssaythanks.com ... You choose a card from a number of cards that were drawn by school children throughout the country, then you can pick a message…

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Learning to let go and realize that the boy I sent to the Navy has become a man on his own. Being able to receive support and friendship on this website from other mothers going through the same experiences is a great thing.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi Edie,

Thank you so much for your message. Believe it or not I did all of that stuff to get the music but I cannot find the code anywhere. It doesn't see to be on the list as navyformoms.

Edie to bad you are a little far to drop by. I would not mind helping you eat some of the brisket. That is a big staple here in TX. At least you can freeze it after you cook it and take it out a little at a time. Have a Great Easter.

Hi Edie, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS FOR MY SON RUBEN. He is doing okay, he still gets alot of headaches, memory loss, his left side is weak. Your son Matt is on the George Washington, so is my son Ruben, i wonder if they know each other, we can't use last names on this website. Ruben has the same injury that actress Natasha Richardson died of, Ruben was sever, why he lived and she didn't, only God has the answer for that. I tell Ruben it was not his time yet, that God has a purpose for him, what he Ruben does with it is his choice. Ruben was truly God Miracle. God Bless you and your family.
