Hi Christie! Brian is in the RP (Religious Personnel) program, so I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not. I know that when he got his orders to Japan, he was told that the Marine unit he's attached to would be sent to Iraq or be there when he was scheduled to go to Japan, so they sent him to North Carolina for training. I know the program there is 8 weeks, not 4, and that it's called CREST. I'm not sure if this is something Brian requested or he was just told that's what he's doing. I'm going to be talking to him this weekend...I'll ask and get back to you on Monday.

God bless you and your son!

Hi-I saw where your son would be attached with the Marines. My son is in his first week of MA school in San Antonio and told me last night that he wanted to do that. He said it would be 4 weeks of Marine training then overseas. Do you have any information? Is there a group or something-I'm flying blind.
Thanks for any help.

Elaine - my son is in bc right now and will go to A school in MS. He is an RPS too. I am finding that there aren't too many of those here...lol - nice to have found one! :)

I know Montreal, my aunt and uncle lived there Clay & Jan Henson. I bet the small town crap that happens in school, at that age can be rough. We retired down to Sunrise Beach in Dec., we lived and grew up in Kansas CIty, so this has been a culture shock for us. Where is your son now? Iraq? That would be unnerving. I don't see mom & dad like I should, I've only seen them 4 times since I moved here. Shame on me!! I worked for a bank as a loan officier and dealt with many title companies, then I had, had enough and went into the medical world. Much better. Well, I hope the new school works out well for your daughter. I bet you know my cousins Stephanie & Dana Phillips? I have no contact with them. What about Kent Henson? Again no contact there either. I will be 46 this Thursday. Kyle will be my b-day present at PIR. Do you know Miranda & Seth Henson? I do associate with them. or Jenny & Shawn Henson? I don't know anyone there except Terry Clay and his brother Wendall. Terry and I were to be engaged and he was killed in an accident. Other than them I know, nobody. Well, take care for now.

I just got off the phone with my mom and she said yes they know you. They say hello. I never dreamed I would meet someone from there. Never. Well, I wish your son the best. My son will be in GL for 22 weeks for Electricians school. Do you still live in Stoutland? I see where your daughter is going to go to Camendeton next fall. We will have to stay in touch, such a small world. :)

Well hello, I was told that you may be able to help me. Here is my question... I was wondering if my husband would be able to live off base with us during A school, or even on base. We have 3 children as well, if that even makes a difference. I have been looking at apartments, furnished, around St. Roberts. Also, that is fantastic about your son finding Christ. My husband is actually an ordained minister, but didn't go into the service for chaplin because he needed to have a trade to fall back on when the Lord blesses us with pastoring our own church one day. That is, incase he doesn't bless us with full time ministry, when you work for the Lord, it is not always the most glamorous thing, but definitely the most rewarding. So anyway, I'm just needing some help and insight, hopefully you can helo =) thank you ahead of time! Sarah
