Happy Thanksgiving to everybody!!! Megan finally got her orders she is going to San Diego (Point Loma) next Wednesday, she is also coming home tomorrow for Thanksgiving can't wait to see her. It is going to be great having her so close to home!!!

Vernita, My sailor is doing well....... he was home for a few weeks, he has shore duty in Hawaii at Camp Smith. Hope everyone else is doing good and a Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Sounds like you will have a great Thanksgiving! Jake is coming home on Dec. 30th. He is on the USS Harry S Truman out of Norfolk. He will be leaving on a cruise sometime after the new year. Hope Megan goes to A school soon! :)

Megan is still Great Lakes waiting to be transfered, she is filing and doing odd jobs while she is waiting for an opening in her A school. She was put on hold until the new fiscal year as the navy had no money to fly her out to San Diego? We have ...

The Lord has blessed me in many ways and I thank Him for it every day. God bless our military and our Sailors!!!!

Thank You will get in touch w/Paula on the shirt. My son Nik has called me & he is being shipped out for 5 weeks & he cannot tell me a thing :.( That scares me terribly!!!! It was a hard to keep it together Saturday knowing this was happening. But you know as well as I WE MOMMAS will do Anything for our Babies.. I say Babies because they are our BABIES..... Hey Elise~ Zachery is at Gulfport he PIR on 4-24 I believe Jacob was in his div (170) Zach has been in Gulfport going on a month now. Maybe we can keep in touch and keep each other informed. Zachery is coming home for Memorial weekend I can't wait. Well talk to you soon.

Elise, I just saw your comment. My computer died and I just got a new one at the NEX in Great Lakes. We (my husband and I) did attend the graduation. Wasn't it great? It was so good to see Jake. All of them looked so proud....so did the parents!! We enjoyed being on a base again. Sometimes we really miss the Navy life!! I keep telling Jake we can now live it through him. Thanks for the invite but by the time we got to our room it was to late to join you. I hope everything is going well for your son....and for you. I hope you are having a great day.

Hi Elise..We did have a wonderful time. I wish it could of been longer. We did go meet her at the airport Saturday morning at 5:00. She left for Meridian, Mississippi. I hope you had a wonderful time seeing Jacob. It was such a wonderful experience. It was so nice to meet you and your mom. Keep in touch and let me know how things are going and I'll do the same.

Take 294 North which turns into 94. Turn right on Buckley to get to the Navy Base. We stayed at the Homewood Suites by the Hilton on Half Day Road exit. It was really close to "94". Be ready for road construction. The traffic moves along quickly but lots of rough road. Have change ready. Like $4.00 in quarters for the toll roads.
