Ex Navy proud to announce that my youngest daughter, Jessica has enlisted and left for Great Lakes on 8-13-2008. I live in Pensacola, Florida. My husband and I are now empty nesters. I can't believe the children grew up so fast.
I work in property management and proud to serve military families on a daily basis.

Hi Ella, My name is Dianne and my son, TJ is in phase III in Pensacola due to graduate A school on Nov. 6. My husband, TJ's two sisters, one 18 the other 29 and I are headed to Florida on the 5th and coming home on the 9th. We are staying at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front. I am assuming we will be at the hotel a lot but... I would like to find some shrimp to buy and ship home. Is there a place to go by the gulf that you can get them off of the shrimp boats?My girls have never seen the ocean. We are from Kansas. TJ has been there since May. I really don't want to go to any museums but just the surrounding area sightseeing would be great. We have a GPS and are renting a car. TJ will stay with us. Any advice on places interesting to go or things to sightsee would be appreciated. Thanks, Dianne

Ella, Have you heard from Jessica, I was thinking about her? Kathryn said she (Jess) was running a fever and was going to sick call. Kathryn is sick too but said she's not sick enought to go to sick call. I hope Jessica feels better!! laura

Hi Ella, I saw you asking about the PIR meet and greet. I have one started for the 9th, the day before at 6pm. I believe G man's man wanted to arrange one for the 10th after grad and after they take the sailors back at 9 pm. I started the one on the 9th for mom's like you and I, our sailors leave after graduation and are not going to be around till 9 pm to meet the other moms. So it's good there is one both nights!! It's under events on the 2nd page.. laura

Yes, It is so hard to believe thay are half way through!! Are you staying at the Navy Lodge also? My mom is driving up with me. My husband and I just got back from visiting our son in Army boot camp and I'm so glad we did go on what they called the halfway pass. He actually graduated from bootcamp and now is on to what they call the other half of boot camp, combat training. He's infantry, I don't like that but that's what he wanted. But we decided husband would stay here in Oct because our business would suffer too much if we both leave again so soon. So my mom said she would drive up with me. I am so anxious to leave for Ill!! We got to see John in his uniform for the first time and he looked sooooo nice. Now I can't wait to see Kathryn in hers!! They are all going to look so nice! Hi Ella, Kat called me Sun on my way home from Georgia. That's cool that Jessica and Kat know each other. She had her wisdom teeth taken out this past week. Said she was looking forward to it only because of the two day bed rest!! Silly girl!! I can't wait to go to PIR>> laura

I also got a letter from Kathryn yesterday. She said she is doing really well, and loving it. She said sorry she cried, it just got to her when she heard me answer the phone. But she said she got a position as Master of Arms and is really loving it!! Did you get a phone call from her yet? laura
