hi Ellen--i now i have not been on for a while but we are planning on being in Park City July 14th until the 19th- i was curious as to whether you will be around at that time and that maybe we could meet up for a cup of coffee or something...I would love to meet you...my hubby is in a golf tournament for 4 days so i will have alot of free time....Maxine

I know I need to set up a page I just never seem to be on the computer unless I'm at work! What does that say???
Raven is in Europe right now and loves every minute of it. She has been to Scotland and Norway and they are expected to be in France for D day. She said she is really learning her job and working very hard to get all her Quals done on this short deployment. She will be home for a couple of weeks in Jul before deploying again for seven months in August.Life as I know it has changed!

Raven is on a destroyer too. I have no idea if she likes it or if she is feeling overwhelmed. I was able to talk to her for a few minutes on Sunday. She said she was going to York Town and I think she said they would be back today or tomorrow. I know she is leaving for 2 month on Saturday. That bit of information I can't forget. I guess maybe the upside of this is she won't get home sick she will be too busy. Raven was hoping for the top bunk but go the bottom. Tell Ryan he is lucky he won't have people putting their feet on his rack to climb up. Raven is worried someone is going to step on her head!
I know it's going to be hard of us having then gone more than they are home. Are you planning on going to San Diego to watch the ship when it deploys for 5 to 6 months? I think we are going to try to make it to Norfolk. I know I won't miss her home coming..

Raven arrived to her ship in Norfolk late Saturday night. I talked to her for a few minutes yesterday she sounded very tired and happy. She did tell me she would be leaving this coming Saturday for two months be back in June and leave again in August. Looks like things are really going to start happening for her now.
How is Ryan enjoying it?

I know what you meen about the time going by to fast. She is home today packing up her room and finishing her laundry. She seems so grown all of sudden.
I'm happy Ryan made it to San Diego safely.

Hi Ellen,
I think by now Ryan should be on his way to San Diego if he is not there already. How was your visit?
Raven leaves for Norfolk Saturday morning. We found out last week she will be deploying in August so it seems both the kids will be leaving earlier than we would have liked.

I see by your comments that Raven finally made it home. and that Ryan also made it home good for them I'm glad. it is about time they got these kid's going. Jon leaves tomorrow his flight leaves Buffalo at 1:55 pm for Pensacola Fla. it has been good having him home for 10 days but those 10 days have gone by SOOOOO fast!! he huged me earlier and said " I don't want to go back mommy don't let me go" he was joking though.

WOO HOO good to see he made it safely. Raven is climbing the walls to get out of there, on Thursday. The moved her to another ship last night one with out heat. She is just done with GL!
I have never understood why they steal. I hope they didn't take anything to terribly expensive to replace. Not that I'm condoning the act to begin with. I really don't understand how someone could do that.
Face book I know the girl set up an account for me I don't use it however. I will have to get better at it I know raven is on hers all the time.
