- I live in Florida, am married with 2 daughters here in Florida, also a beautiful granddaughter, 8 years old. My son (youngest of 3) just left for bootcamp in the Great Lakes. I already miss him so much, I can't imagine not talking to him for 2 weeks! I'm very nervous about all of this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

- They don"t always tell you the truth, they will put you where they need you. I had two brothers in the Navy for 6 years, one of my brothers now says it was one of the best decisions he ever made in his life. (He's 62) While he was in it he did not like it.

He called me on the 24th and we talked for a few minutes, he thought they would be leaving that day around 3pm. He called that night for a few seconds, saying he had arrived. I had 4 letters waiting to send to him already. So go ahead and start writing those letters it has helped me just to be able to write to him since I still have about 2 more weeks before he will be able to call me.
