Sorry to hear things might not be going as well as you both had planned but the Navy is a wonderful place for young people to go at the moment and so it is a very impacted career choice... It is SO worth it though if you guys can just hold out till your sailor can go...My son has been for 4and a half years and he loves it.. It is a good way to provide for a young family please be patient and have faith something will swing loose. My prayers and best wishes are with you and your family.
