When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Sometimes you have to feel the pain before the wound can heal...
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger

Hi Fran ... how are you and the family doing? How are the kids doing? They must be growing up so fast!!! I haven't heard from you in so long and I was hoping to reconnect and find out how things are going for you, the kids and mostly how Stephen is doing?? I hope to hear from you soon .... so we can catch up and talk. Call me if you can. If you don't have my number I will email you with it or just email me with your phone number so we can chat awhile. Hi Fran, I wanted to drop by your page and check on you and steve.. How is he progressing? Where is he now and more important, how are you? I know as a mom we have a tendency to forget to take care of ourselves but it is so important that we do.
Just wanted you to know that I was thinking of you.

Hi Fran, How's our boy doing? Is he back at GL? Think of you often and praying that things are going well. Pat

Hi Fran!! I hope you're doing well! Sara and Tyler (not my Tyler) are excited about seeing Stephen on Saturday! :) I hope he's feeling well and still making huge progress :) Drop me a line sometime and let me know how you're holding up and how Steve is doing! I'm sure I'll get a full report on Saturday after she sees him :) Tomorrow is Sara's birthday! She'll be 22 and it's the first time I won't see her on her birthday...it's not fun :(

Hi Fran,
This is a youtube presentation of the gospel choir at Great Lakes Naval Base, of which Claire is a member. This song was sung on the last Sunday before she came home for Christmas holidays. She is on the far right in the 3rd row-you can barely see her...she's the shortie behind the taller one in the 2nd row. This choir is so fantastic and I just wanted to share it with you. Please check on this link for the video with her in it- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTuxlALBVOw&feature=channel_page. Others are shown on the link below. If your sons or daughters are still in GL and are interested, the choir is a fantastic place for them to be and great people for them to be with. Claire thoroughly enjoyed her time with them.

Claire heads back to Great Lakes tomorrow for 2-3 more weeks. Please keep her in your prayers as she travels and finishes up on this last part of her A school. We have so enjoyed having her home with us. Having her here has truly been a blessing! We wish that Patrick could have joined us, but hopefully he'll be able to come home in February-March. He was missed greatly.Hope you all had a fantastic holiday! It is so wonderful to see Stephen up and about!! It is indeed a blessing! Take care and keep us all posted on his progress! (((Hugs))) to you all.

LOVED the picture of Stephen walking!! Best wishes for a Happy New Year to you all! We have been having a wonderful time with Jeff home. Makes me laugh to see my 2 boys who used to fight like cats and dogs being inseparable! Tomorrow is the day that the hole in my heart returns (when Jeff leaves) It still amazes me how I can be so proud and so sad at the same time. Love, Pat
