Yes, it is hard to be a military Mom...I just feel lucky that in this day and age we have email and cell phones, so we able to stay in contact on a more regular basis..Sure don't know how my Grandmother handled things when my Dad served in WW2. Once again, thx for the thoughts

- thank you frank my son is in afghanastan he was deployed there in jan 09 for 1 year. so i just pray everyday that he is safe he has been in the navy for 6 yrs i think he is going to make it a career. he is stationed in norfolk va. well gotta go maybe we can chat sometime
