Is there anyone in here who moved to DC to be closer to their sailor? I'm planning to move and I would love to chat with someone about their experience.
We were told he can have an ipod n its ok if it just so happens to be an iphone... I hope thats true!

- Oh my god I am so ready to be ther! I know! All I have wanted is to see him and just be with him for the last two and a half months. And now that its coming up... Is is normal to be nervous. I cant wait to see the man they have made out of him... just nervous I guess. lol. I know our feelings will never change. And I am so glad bc of that. lol. Just getting the butterflies I guess. Thanks for all of that. Breen is doing well. He sounded ver hoarse. I got some "news" on Friday.. before the call. I gues he is required to go field corpsman.. I had no idea. So Ive been an emotional wrek. Quite frankly, the thought of being away from him like that terrifies me. let alone him being in harms way. Idk how Im going to deal with that. How would a relationship work? Let oalone if we got married... I have a lot on my mind. I will probably end up texting u. lol

- Hey woman! We got calls today! I told Breen (my sailor) to tell BYRD that you say you love and miss him a lot. He does know him well. lol. How funny is that! We will probably see eachother on Friday at PIR! Cant wait!

In regards to your question about moving. I would ask your sailor his opinion. Let him decide what he needs.
My daughter-in-law also wanted to move to DC to be closer. My son told her no. This training is more intense than boot camp and it is difficult enough to get through without the distraction of knowing you are minutes away and I can't see you.
