About me:
I'm married and an empty nester. I have two sons in the Navy. One son is a nuke and the other is with a fighter squadron. I spend time with the grandchildren of the son who is a nuke on a submarine and get to see our youngest son with the fighter squadron when he has time.
I am here to support or represent my:

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
To be supportive, tell my sons how very proud I am of them and email as often as I can when they are on deployment.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Hi Gay, thanks for the response. I will have to make sure to be down there for grad. we were lucky when he graduated from ocs it was right here in RI, he was the first class back up here from Pensacola. Wow, your son has been in 12 years, you must be an old pro at all this navy stuff by now! I'm sure I could use your advice along the way. School is not so bad right now, but if & when he makes on a sub I'm sure I will be a basket case! Lots of prayers. Have a great day, kathy
