MY Paul(almost 21) was kinda aimless , He wanted to do this..lot of talk and I pretty much had to living at home is not a choice.."you have no other choice" did not go well. Stupid me. Had a lot of encouragement from family and friends to stay strong because it was the best thing for him. Life is so much calmer at home, can devote time and energy to my 14yr old instead. So far Paul is very notivated and maturing. Time will tell. Stay strong.

To Our Special N4MS Moms!

Mother’s Day Blessing

Just as God gives to each rose
A gentle touch of dew
And gives unto each evening sky
The lovely sunset’s hue

So may he give to you
From his enduring love
Great happiness and hearts’ content
And blessings from above.

Wishing you a very Happy Mother's Day from Brenda S., aka, Sailor Moon

Welcome to Navy for Moms. We are so glad that you are here. This site is chock full of moms that are caring, knowledgeable and kind. We are here to help one another, night or day. I see you have 2 boys that chose to serve our country. Please tell them thank you. If there is anything I can do or help you with, please contact me. My son is in P'Cola, awaiting A school. He has signed to be a Crytologist Technician. I am so proud of his accomplishments thus far. He called and told me yesterday he is a Core Mentor, which means everyone that comes there from bootcamp he gets a chance to meet. I am so excited and proud. Have a wonderful day. I'd love to hear more about your Sailors , We love to see pictures. You are in my prayers regarding the relationship with your Sailor. I went through a period and still do when my son does not call, text or write. Keep them in prayer. Time heals all wounds. They will eventually come back around. I have your relationship with your Sailor on my prayer list. Please come over and join us at the Prayer Wall and Blesseth Assurance. Groups. We are all praying people that have issues we take to the Lord any time of day or night. Please have a blesed day, weekend and Mother's Day. I also have a group, Tri=State, PA-NY-NJ, NY, Others Welcome group that is not really that active, but I have gained two more membes since yesterday. There is a chatbox if you want to talk. No one goes over there. I am thinking of a topic to attract more people. Maybe you can help me. Keep you busy, as this is what they said when I joined the site. Blessings. ttyl.

Hi Georgia,

First, welcome to N4M. Congratulations on your son's service (actually on both your sons' service)!

My heart breaks for you as a mother who has been there. I believe your sincere prayers and your stepping back from your son will help him to recognize his desire to communicate with you. Yes, he is angry but time and prayer heals all wounds. Perhaps his anger comes from feeling that he didn't have a choice in joining the Navy or that he may have disappointed you before he joined.

As he moves forward in life, he will understand why you guide him as you did and he will appreciate you better too!

Please feel free to write me if you'd like, Sherry
