My son just moved due to remodeling too. He still doesn't have his internet hooked up so we have less communication right now.

My son is at Disney with three other Nukes. If you are a mom to one of them, they are having a great time. My son is sending me random text pics as they enjoy the park.

Yes, we are in IL. At least they won last Sunday. It was going to be a depressing season if they didn't.

My name is Ginger. My husband and I have three boys. It is our middle son Ryne who graduated boot camp on 11/7. He is currently in Power School in Goose Creek, SC. My oldest is planning to start grad school next month and my youngest is in 8th grade.

Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
to network! The support from friends, family and advice from this board have been awesome!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Ginger, How did the meet and greet go at the Ozark house sat. 10/17/09. We were at Great Lks with Ryne and his graduation from Boot Camp. WOW it was so good to see him. He lost at least 10 lbs but is now at Corry Station, Pensacola Fl and said he's going to work getting it put back on.
He had an adjustment time at first but seems to be settling in now. Doesn't quite know his schedule yet, i think this first week is A school processing then school starts? Can you help me out with this part of the journey?
Let mek now how the M&G went sat. and if there are any other meetings coming up. I'd be glad to help and get involved. Any help in figuring out this A school adventure would be helpful too. THANKS, Kathie Ryne's mom Bloomington, Illinois

Hi Ginger, So nice that you found me. My son Ryne went to NCHS. Just graduated the end of May '09. He joined the Navy Dec. '08 and went to BC 8/18/09. WOW your son has been in for 1 yr. How did you survive BC? There are times I really miss him and then I think about how much he wanted to do this and how proud we are of him. Your son looks so handsome in the picture you have up. I'd love to hear antything, your thoughts on BC Illinois N4Ms group anything. Thank you again for writing. Kathie mom of Ryne.
