Well, he is still state side until Feb. Then his shipping orders will be cut. His bride still will be in college until May. So, we hope to visit them in S. Carolina before all those events happen. Andy's happen that this phase of study is hands-on. He tolerates classrooms for what they lead to, but give him a job and he's happy. Very exhausted on the midnite shifts, but I figure once he's undersea, all the hours will seem the same.
We have adapted to empty house much better than expected. thank goodness for the three neighbor boys who come over to use our basketball hoop.
Well, our town is building a new fire hall. And, we're still eating our dairy products! How's your sailor? We are expecting new orders for ours in February.
Take care and catch us up on your news.

We have some pictures of the flag carriers from our son's PIR on 11-14-08, my husband also video taped a lot of the ceremony including each individual state flags as they walked in front of us. Add me as a friend so that we can pm you and get an email to send these to. (which state flag was she carrying? I am sure you already told me, but I am running on exhaustion and don't remember half of what I should be, sorry)
I was just logging on to tell you that I got a letter from Melissa and they are rack neighbors! She wrote the letter on Veteran's day because they had a holiday schedule. Seems the RDC had the females playing musical bunks along with I.T. and they switched to different racks 5 times., and the last time they were neighbors. Melissa is on the bottom rack. I don't know if that means your daughter is on the top rack or in the rack next to her. We need to wear Christmas antlers or something so we will know each other at the lodge. I am so excited as I'm sure you are! 12 days!
