- About me:
- Retired/Disabled Nurse,Mom to four grown children, my oldest daughter, in the Navy. Grandma ,"Nani" to three sweet grandchildren. My second to oldest daughter is a stay at home Mommy and wife , mother of my three grandchildren. My third daughter is an attorney, works for the state, thinks all Navy men are so handsome!! I told her its true, its not just the uniform! My son the youngest attends a apprenticeship program.With industry being so slow, we have discussed the military several times, no Navy for him though, cant swim for the life of him, he would go Air Force.
Love to collect antiques, crochet, sketch interesting subjects, read, ebay, Allnurses.com forum,politics and current events, was LPN for 30 years. Improving my mind by learning something new everyday.
My daughter joined the Navy in 2002, is an HM2. FMSS ( now known as FMTB) training in 2004.Enrolled in Excelsior online RN course.My daughter earned her Master Training Specialist this year 2008, first try!
My niece's husband Ryan is a Marine Helo pilot, we are all SO proud of him and their beautiful family!
Have learned that to be a volunteer at a Veterans hospital, nursing or homeless shelter is a great gift to one's soul .

i have an american flag peace sign on the back of my PGR/blue star moms vest. looks like we think a lot a like. peace to you!! i've got a bit of that "hippie in me too" lol
I read over that horrifying site. Actually feel guilty for even wasting my time on such disturbed people. I wonder what they do at church? They certainly don't listen!
With so many problems in the world, how can there be so much hate over a blog.
Hope you don't experience this again.
