About me:
Hello, my name is Haley, I am 19 years old and i have recently moved from Jacksonville fl to Lousiville ky to live with some family until Anthoney (my MM Nuke) gets done with Power School in Goose Creek SC..

I grew up with in the Navy life my dad is an AT so i kinda know what the lifestyle is all about.. But i have learned that it is alot harder to be a Navy spouse than to be a Navy daughter.

i love my Nuke to death and i am very proud of him and everything he has accomplished. He is the most amazing man ive ever met and ill follow him anywhere..

"love is pretty much the only thing the navy cannot take away from you"

My sailor is currently in Powerschool in SC and the hours that it demands put him through alot of stress and me as well.. i would just like to be able to connect with some other girlfriends/wifes of Navy nukes to learn about their expierience being a Nuke spouse and what might help make things a little less stressful
I am here to support or represent my:
Spouse/Significant other
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
luckly for me i was raised a navy bratt so i had a better idea than some of what i was getting myself into.. the navy deffinately takes up alot of time.. and it can make it really hard for people and their relationships.. i know that it takes a very special person to be a military spouse..

What do you do for work? I'm going to grad school for environmental studies. I am very thankful that I"ll still be within reasonable driving distance to my boyfriend. Even if I lived closer, we would probably see each other about the same since they are so busy especially during the week. That's a long time for your boyfriend not to see his family, but I moved about 12 hours away from home to go to college! I usually see them at least twice a year though.

Hey Haley, my boyfriend is doing well in A school. He didn't get to phase up but I still got to see him for a while today. What do you do to keep busy? That's exciting that you are moving out there. I've been working full time but I'm about to start graduate school this fall. It will be nice to be busy again. My boyfriend is from SC and I live in SC now, about 2 hours from base. But I will be moving to NC about 3.5 hours away from base next week. His family lives nearby so it's kind of nice for him.

Hey Haley and welcome! My boyfriend is in the beginning of A school, just a few weeks into it. He should be phasing up this weekend which is very exciting!! He was so stressed about a big test earlier this week, but he did really well on it. So as long as he passes his uniform and room inspection he'll get to come visit me this weekend! How is your boyfriend doing in power school? Does he like it?
