I wondered if all of you could keep my son in your thoughts. He's been on a very long deployment that has been extended two weeks. He's on the tail end of it, but it's been hard on him and I think he needs some extra prayers heading his and the US...
For wives/moms who's husbands/sons are deployed and are looking for that extra support! We are all here for eachother!! We are their candles on the water!

.....Well I priorly served as a Operations Specialist in the USN. And now my hubby is serving!!! We are stationed out of Everett, Washington and absolutely love it here. The mountains are amazing!!! But sadly my hubby is deployed and will be gone for 6-8 months:( And to add to the craziness we are expecting our first child!!!......

- Well as a new navy wife I would have to say learning to sit on the other side of the stands...lol....from being the one out there serving to being the one waiting for my sailor to come home to me has been a big change and is hard alot of times but I think I am getting better at it!!!!!! .....

They live below in a stagnant cage far from the light of day.
Far from the smell of wind and wave in slime and slow decay.
Now the deckhands say when the light is drapped in the dark you may hear him prowl
as he sleazes topside like a ghost escaped the pain work to befoul.
He smudges his back on a bulkhead there leaving a greasy smear
and his smell goes out in the midnight air polluting the atmosphere.
Now this is the reason that all men know follow the boatswains pipe.
That the vilest of creatures live down below and are commonly called a SNIPE

- Hey girl! Long time, no talk! How are you & the little family? I'm finally here in WA :) We've been here since April 22nd & we're finally getting the hang of everything. So, I completely forgot everything we talked about. What ship is your husband on? Cody is on the Lincoln. We live in Carrol's Creek Landing. It's PPV housing here in Marysville. I see you live in Lynnwood, not too far from here :) I wish we could move to the new housing in Lake Stevens but we aren't allowed :( Cody is only E2 but he'll be E3 in February. Is your hubby stationed in Everett?
